Help Us Serve Our Youth

In honor of this Hall of Fame baseball player, the Company will enhance the
quality of life in underserved communities and for underserved students by providing educational and athletic opportunities relating to the sport of baseball.

Volunteering

The Company is committed to promoting baseball tournaments and advancing education initiatives relating to the Negro leagues.

About Our Program

The Company is also seeking to promote baseball participation in the
African American community, and specifically its young people.

The Pete Hil Foundation, LLC, was founded in September 2021 and thus has a relatively brief history with few past or ongoing activities to detail. Its mission is to enrich the lives of underserved communities by offering educational and athletic programs centered around the sport of baseball, in tribute to the esteemed Hall of Fame player, John Preston “Pete” Hil. The National Baseball Hall of Fame has documented the remarkable life and achievements of this iconic figure.

“Baseball is about talent, hard work, and strategy. But at the deepest level, it’s about love, integrity, and respect.” – Pat Gillick
“I didn’t understand anything about playing baseball. I started playing, and it was enjoyable. Most of my life, I played with older people on my team, in my league. I learned a lot about life. Everyday in my life, I learned something new from somebody.” – Ernie Banks
